Rachel Carbonell is a teacher and writer living in Brooklyn, NY. She teaches various Humanities and Social Science courses at the College of New Rochelle and Critical Thinking at Axia College, and she also tutors youth in English and Math. Rachel holds a B.A. in English from Oberlin College, an M.A. in Humanities and Social Thought from NYU, and a publishing certificate from NYU. Rachel has been published in The Vagrant Quarterly literary journal and Burning Word and is awaiting publication elsewhere. In her spare time, Rachel enjoys seeing music shows, cooking, reading, biking, seeing movies, writing, making art, and spending time with friends and her two cats.
